Job Requirement :
Terra Motors EV 3W is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager - NBFC to lead and oversee loan origination, channel management, and operational excellence within our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) division. The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing loan processing, and ensuring top-tier customer service delivery. This role will involve managing both secured and unsecured loan processes, while working closely with channel partners, credit teams, and operations to ensure seamless and effective service across the board.
Job Responsibilities:
Loan Origination: Oversee the end-to-end origination process for secured and unsecured loans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory guidelines.
Target Achievement: Lead the team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for loan origination and portfolio growth.
Channel Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, and other external partners to support business expansion and reach new customer segments.
Case Approvals & Escalation: Work closely with the relevant internal departments (credit, legal, and risk) to ensure timely and accurate loan approvals. Escalate issues as necessary to resolve challenges quickly and maintain operational efficiency.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with the credit and operations teams to ensure smooth loan disbursements and closure of cases while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and trust.
Customer Service Excellence:Provide ongoing support to clients, address queries, and maintain high levels of satisfaction. Proactively address future client needs, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
Risk Management: Support the credit and risk management teams in assessing, monitoring, and managing portfolio risks, ensuring that financial performance remains healthy and compliant with company policies.
Collections Strategy: Oversee and implement effective collections strategies, ensuring overdue payments are minimized and the portfolio quality is preserved.
Microfinance Expertise: Utilize expertise in microfinance to inform and enhance product offerings, ensuring that Terra Motors EV 3W’s NBFC division remains competitive and innovative in the market.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the loan origination team, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to perform at a high level.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: CA, MBA, or a relevant Post Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in the NBFC or banking sectors, with a particular emphasis on microfinance or retail loan products (secured and unsecured).
Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of unsecured and secured loan products, market dynamics, and operational intricacies.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration across sales, credit, and operations teams.
Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in microfinance lending or exposure to rural/semirural markets.
Strong understanding of risk management, compliance regulations, and financial performance monitoring.
Ability to innovate and contribute to the strategic direction of the loan portfolio.
